SOCIAL REPRESSION

Do you comb your hair the way they do and
do you wear the clothes that they all too
Well you better not tell them who you are
don't you know they'll lock you up
behind steel bars

Social repression day to day
Have they programmed you with
their words to say
You better not fall from the masses
don't you know they'll poison you
with chamber gasses

Social repression goes on day to day
You better run and hide
if you're gay
and if you're a freak you
better stay away too
don't you know they'll come and
put the screws to you

We who are different from the norm
are left without shelter from the storms
we are left cold and hungry too
If our peers won't help us then
how could you

We sit here watching your circles and bow
at you attitude faking game players
you patterned puppets name makers
And we wonder even how
you can live your lives so guiltless now

Social repression day today
Blinders on my eyes with no words
      to say
Doesn't anybody care about today
