PULSE POP

Cigarette smoke string out window
    along telephone wires
        eyes squint salt stream
disappointment

A fly smashes against old metal screen rusted door

Nerves twitch at the back of earlobe
      Veins
in right temple feel
the pop pulse
Another smoke works the lie
      over
Snap senses pop pores skin hairs
float the nervous twitch go
blanket smack covers snap castrated sleep
dog whore sleep woolly
Woolly hair boy bobby-pinned
rolling limp prick
       Eyes
clock ticking hard pop
Pulse

hot burst
Silver trash cans roll
in the back of the head
spew and fear garbage spill garble about
an Easter past
naked to the stars' pulse
